The Exiled expansion focuses on the four major outlaw organizations in EVE -- Angel Cartel, Blood Raiders, Guristas, and Serpentis -- as well as CONCORD, the EVE universe's independent law enforcement agency. The Exiled expansion also introduces a new card type and several new mechanics. Booster packs contain 15 cards (10 common, 3 uncommon, 1 rare and 1 home region or outer region). Each booster pack contains 10 common, 3 uncommon, 1 rare, and 1 home region or outer region card.

The Exiled is made up of cards from four of the pirate factions of the EVE universe. As indicated by the title, this set also places a heavy emphasis on the oft-neglected outer regions. With 160 cards in The Exiled, it provides a myriad of new ways to manipulate, control and exploit the galaxy while you work to topple your opponents.The goal of this first expansion is to make Second Genesis an even more robust game. By introducing cards and mechanics that encourage play in the outer regions and stymie the ultra-aggressive frigate rush, we hope to make the numerous other play styles allowed by the game to become more successful, not only in casual play, but also in tournaments.
