Topps' Mars Attacks Heritage base set will include all of the original cards from the 1962 set on heritage stock with multiple levels of parallels. Green bordered base set cards will be inserted 1:3 packs, silver bordered 1:24 packs, and gold bordered 1:TBD. 1/1 printing plates (4 colors per subject) will also be randomly inserted in packs (1:TBD ratio). Deleted Scene cards are inserted 1 per pack. They are painted by Wacky Packages artist Jason Edmiston and are based on storyboarded sketches from the original series pencillers Wally Wood and Bob Powell that didn't appear in the 1962 set. They feature new text by original Mars Attacks co-creator and writer Len Brown. New Universe cards are inserted 1 per pack as well. They are illustrated by Eisner award-winning comic book artist John Mcrea, the acclaimed artist of the forthcoming Mars Attacks comic book series from IDW. Also look for 3-D Lenticular cards!
